Physical Therapist Assistant Joins The Recovery Project
Livonia-based leader in physical and occupational therapy invests in top talent

The Recovery Project, a leading provider of high-intensity physical and occupational therapy, announced today the hiring of Elizabeth Closser as physical therapist assistant. The Recovery Project co-CEO and lead physical therapist Polly Swingle, PT, CEEAA, GCS, made the announcement.
As physical therapist assistant, Closser will provide skilled physical therapy under the supervision of the company’s experienced clinicians. She will utilize the latest evidence-based therapeutic techniques with the facility’s wide variety of clients, including people with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders and other conditions.

Prior to joining The Recovery Project, Closser served as a physical therapy assistant in sub-acute rehabilitation at Novi-based Fox Run. She earned her associate’s degree in applied science from Henry Ford Community College, and studied general education with a focus in science at Eastern Michigan University. Closser is also certified in LSVT®, a specialized physical therapy program for people with Parkinson’s disease, and involved in the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Michigan.
