Police In Standoff With Barricaded Gunman Near Ann Arbor: Police

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Police are in a standoff with a man that has barricaded himself inside an apartment complex near Ann Arbor after multiple shots were fired in the building, police said.

The building at Glencoe Hills Apartments, near Washtenaw and Dalton Avenue in Pittsfield Township was evacuated except for the gunman, police said.

Pittsfield Township police asked the public to stay away from the area, officials said in a Facebook post just before 7:00 a.m.

Officials have not reported any injuries in the shooting.
