PLYMOUTH, MI — The Plymouth City Commission recently voted to allow more restaurants in the downtown district to acquire a liquor license, raising the area's cap from 16 to 18, according to a report from Hometown Life.
The decision sparked debate on both sides, with some arguing allowing more restaurants to sell alcohol could take away business from long-serving restaurants (especially coming off the COVID-19 pandemic), while others voiced concerns about the city's limited parking, according to the report.
