Plymouth Area Cider Mill Opens For Fall Season Saturday

NORTHVILLE, MI — With fall just around the corner, one of Michigan's oldest cider mills in the Plymouth area will open Saturday.
The Parmenter's Northville Cider Mill opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, selling its signature fresh doughnuts, apple cider, Fudge, pies and more.
The urban cider mill, located within the Historic homes of Cabbage Town in Northville at 714 Baseline Road, first opened in 1873, making it one of Michigan's oldest continuing cider mills.

Visitors can watch the cider being pressed at the mill between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday's, Thursday's, Saturday's or Sunday's. Almonds and fudge are also available during the week inside the mill.
On September and October weekends, the mill opens its Nut Hut, which makes candied almonds and its unique Chow Mill that serves on hot dogs and kielbasa.

Visitors can also stop by the Northville Winery and Brewing, where there will be live music and food trucks to accompany guests trying out hard cider, beer and wine.
