Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans To Host BBQ Steak Dinner, August 26th

The men and women at the Plymouth-Canton Vietnam Veterans, Chapter 528, are kindly inviting our community to an old fashioned Steak BBQ. This will be the 3rd, and last Steak BBQ event of the year. It will held be on Friday, August 26th, and will go from 5:00-7:30 PM. This event will be held at the Leon Sikorski Memorial BBQ & Pavilion, in the picnic area of the Plymouth VFW Post, at 1426 S Mill Street.

The first two Steak BBQ events were wildly successful, due to the awesome steaks that Eastern Market of Canton provided, and because of the BBQ skills of Al Sneath, and Tom McMullen! Our Vietnam Veterans know how to grill meat, and grill it to perfection!

It is important to note that Marvin Jarbo, who owns Eastern Market of Canton, has generously provided the best meat in town, at a reduced price for these events, and that is the sole reason that the Steak BBQ's were able to happen, and be so successful. He has been a friend to our local veterans for many years, and they are grateful for his support.

This month's steaks are Bone-In Ribeye Steaks, seasoned to perfection, and cooked exactly the way you like your steak. You'll also get a baked potato, sour cream if you want it, a fabulous vegetable medley, and roll/butter, with your steak dinner, and there will be plenty of cold beverages of any variety for sale as well. While you are invited to eat your meal at the picnic tables under the pavilion, if the weather is hot, you are invited to eat in the air conditioned lounge, and your dinner will be delivered to your table.

An added bonus this month, is that the Plymouth VFW Auxiliary are graciously doing their famous dessert table! When you are done with your meal, you'll surely want to visit their dessert table, where you will find a great assortment of homemade baked goods, that are sure to please any sweet tooth, and you'll get any dessert for a dollar! The Plymouth VFW Auxiliary Dessert Table is famous for fabulous desserts! I suggest you bring $5 to the table, and grab a handful of them! One to eat after your meal, and a few to take home with you!
