Thunderstorms Possible Tuesday Night: Metro Detroit Weather

METRO DETROIT — Scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday in the Metro Detroit area, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather, but said any thunderstorm that pops up in the area can produce a brief period of heavy rainfall, according to the National Weather Service.

Any lingering thunderstorms in the area should fizzle away overnight into Wednesday before another round of thunderstorms can hit the area during the afternoon hours when temperatures reach the mid 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
