The Plymouth Township board recently approved restocking more than $30,000 worth of equipment for the fire department, according to a HometownLife report.
The Plymouth Township Fire Department will be buying protective pants, coats, boots and helmets as the agency bounces back from budget cuts brought on by the recent economic downturn, the report stated. The department had to cut employees and close a station between 2007 and 2009, the report added.
