Plymouth VFW Hosting Their Annual Lenten Fish Fry's
Weather may have slowed things down a bit, but our veterans are hoping for a great community turnout for their 3rd Lenten Fish Fry.

Fish Fry season is upon us, and our veterans at the Plymouth VFW Post have been cooking up their awesome dinners for two weeks now. Unfortunately, the weather has not cooperated, and many of the folks in our community, could not attend the past two weeks. That is okay, because the veterans at the Plymouth VFW Post will be there tomorrow, and are hoping for a big crowd! We may have a little snow in the morning, but the roads will be fine, and the fish dinners will be plentiful and awesome!
It is time for our community to come on out, to the Plymouth VFW Post, and enjoy an awesome dinner cooked up by our local veterans! These folks cook the best fish in town, and they love to have our community come on out for some friendship, food, and a beverage of their choice.
The next Lenten Fish Fry will be on Friday, March 10th, and they will continue through Lent. The Fish Fry's are from 4:30-7:00 PM which is a half hour earlier starting time from previous years. You can have your fish fried or baked, you can get Cod or Walleye (Awesome), or if you are not in the mood for fish, there are also Chicken Tender Dinners, and Shrimp Dinners. You can eat your dinner at the banquet hall, or if you prefer, they will gladly pack your dinners to go as well.

While you are at the Fish Fry, you will want to be sure to visit the dessert table, where you will find a huge assortment of homemade baked goods, all for the very cheap price of one dollar a piece. I
call this the “Buck-A-Pop-Table” and I generally bring a five dollar bill, and take some goodies home with me. I am also given to understand, that they'll have the spinning wheel going, for folks
who are feeling lucky!
So come on out, and support our local veterans every Friday during Lent. I promise you, the food will be great, and the company will be even better...
