Plymouth VFW Post 6695 To Host Flea Market

One of my parent's favorite summer pastimes is to take a Saturday every now and then, get in their van, and go hit some garage sales. Well, they do it less often these days, because of the price of gas, and the miles in between sales.

Well here is a great opportunity to get a bunch of garage sales all in one stop. It is the VFW Post 6695 Flea Market! The Plymouth VFW Post 6695 is hosting a flea market this coming Sunday, right in their spacious parking lot. This event is being put together by Leslie Rae, who did a fabulous job with the popular VFW Craft Show back in April.

Not only can you come to shop, but if you have a ten dollar bill for a table, you can come to sell. By now, you have pretty much figured out which stuff in the garage or shed you are actually using this summer, and which stuff needs to go. Here is your opportunity to thin out the dust collectors, and possibly find some gems to take their place.

This is the truly great thing about flea markets, you not only get to sell your wares, but you can also get in on the buying, or even bartering, which is my personal favorite. Either way, you'll have a bunch of tables to browse, all in one location.

I don't have any details, but if I know the folks at the VFW Post, there will most likely be a variety of things to munch on as you browse the tables.

So if you have stuff to sell, you have all week to get it ready, or if you are in a buying mood, you have all week to make some room for your new acquisitions. Either way, you'll have some fun, meet some good people, and grab a bite and a drink.

The VFW Post 6695 Flea Market is Sunday, July 20th, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

The Plymouth VFW Post is located at 1426 S Mill Street, just North of Ann Arbor Road.
