Residents in the area of Karmada and Farmer streets were asked to stay inside their homes as police investigate, police said.
PLYMOUTH, MI — Some Plymouth residents were asked to shelter in place due to an undisclosed police situation, officials said. The order was lifted Friday afternoon after police said the situation was "resolved."

Students at Bird Elementary School, East Middle School and West Middle School were also asked to shelter in place, officials said.
