Police Identify Suspect In Fatal Shooting Of Plymouth Woman

Police are looking for a man they believe fatally shot a 50-year-old Plymouth woman​ Thursday morning.

Police described Elinski​ as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, about 245 pounds.​ Police do not know of his whereabouts and described him as armed and dangerous.

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Police are looking for a man they believe fatally shot a 50-year-old Plymouth woman Thursday morning.

Michael Anthony Elinski, 59, is wanted in connection to the slaying of Andrea Grant, who was found shot to death in a car at a Pittsfield Township parking lot, police said.

Police described Elinski as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, about 245 pounds. Police do not know of his whereabouts and described him as armed and dangerous.

Police do not think the shooting was a random attack.

Officers found Grant dead inside a car riddled with multiple bullet holes on the 3700 block of Plaza Drive at 9:10 a.m., police said.
