Dre Wallace, a next door neighbor told WXYZ-TV that he heard loud arguing and one gunshot around 5 p.m. Sunday.

“And the whole time the dad is sitting there looking at everybody crazy, (saying) this will happen to anybody that disrespects me in my house."

Wallace said he knew the victim and his father did not get along, but didn’t imagine their disagreements would result in a shooting.

The son is being treated in a nearby hospital while his father is in police custody.
