“Spring Arbor does not just touch people in Spring Arbor, Mich.,” Bruce Brown, Professor of Music Theory and Composition. “We have many friends in the Detroit area. The university has campuses throughout the Detroit area as well and we want to deliver this sacred and uplifting music to not only our students and alum, but also to the youth in the region who uphold, or are interested in learning more about, living with Christian values.”

Teens for Christ Ministries (TFCs) is a high school discipleship ministry of the East Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church. TFCs is composed of 77 high school students from across the state of Michigan. TFCs strives to provide high school students a safe place to explore their relationship with God; build peer relationships that will last a lifetime; provide mentors that can act as an adjunct to the mentoring they are getting at their home churches; and teach the students skills that they can apply back at their home churches as part of those local congregations.
The evening will conclude with a thunderous new arrangement Brown has written named, “What Wondrous Love is This,” that will include all of the events’ performers.
Added Brown, “This concert is about people coming together to celebrate and worship together. More than 130 voices will close out the event and that magnitude is sure to be powerful and awe- inspiring.”
