Tilted Kilt to Open in Canton: Will You Dine There?
The Irish pub know for its scantily clad servers will open its doors in March.

Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, a chain known more for the busty tops and short skirts its waitresses wear than for the Irish pub fare those waitresses serve, will be opening a location in Canton, according to a DBusiness report.
The restaurant will be located at 42059 Ford Road and is set to open its doors in March, the report stated. The Canton site is one of 20 that the chain is opening across the Midwest, according to the report. Titled Kilt already has a location in Novi, the report added.
In the past, Tilted Kilt has faced opposition from residents when its tried to open other Midwest locations. In 2011, the chain’s plan to open a pub in Evanston, a Chicago suburb, was stopped when it was denied a liquor license, according to Evanston Patch. In that same year, residents of another Chicago ‘burb, Schaumburg, objected to the Hooters-esque attire worn of the chain’s servers, but Tilted Kilt was still able to open a new location there, the Huffington Post reported.

Add to that a 2012 sexual harassment lawsuit filed by 19 women who worked at a Chicago’s Wabash Avenue Tilted Kilt, and you can see that the Arizona-based chain hasn’t had a smooth time in the Midwest.
