Urgent Stranger Danger Alert in Plymouth Township
Police said a man who twice tried to lure 8-year-old into his vehicle poses a "severe" and "significant" threat.

PLYMOUTH, MI – Plymouth Township Police issued an alert Friday asking residents to be on the lookout for a stranger who reportedly tried to lure an 8-year-old girl into his vehicle Wednesday.

Police said an elderly white male approached the girl in the Plymouth Hills Mobile Home Park, located on Ridge near Halyard, and offered her candy if she would enter his vehicle. At 3 p.m., the man reportedly approached the girl again in the same area.
The matter remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Plymouth Township Police Department at (734) 354-3243.

According to the description given police, the man was possibly driving a newer black Chrysler 200. He has gray hair and no facial hair, is thin and has “bad skin,” police said.
