Watch: Vulgarity Filled Diatribe at McDonald's

No, woman tells fast-food worker, she didn't want fries with that. She wanted ice cream. And you won't believe what she said next.

A woman who launched into an angry, profanity-laced tirade at a Michigan McDonald’s apparently hasn’t heard the fast-food chain’s possible new slogan: “Lovin’ Is Greater Than Hatin’.”

She was certainly “hatin’ ” in a 3-minute video captured by Eastern Michigan University student Janae Sims at the McDonald’s restaurant at 1070 Huron River Drive in Ypsilanti on Dec. 23, The Ann Arbor News/MLive reports.

At issue: 40 cents and an order that included French fries instead of ice cream. At one point, the woman told the employee she had a stick in her purse that she was prepared to use.

“Do you like your face?” she taunted.

Sims posted the video on her Facebook page and on YouTube. It’s been viewed millions of times – 9,053,002 times, to be exact, the newspaper said – and has been shared more than 200,000 times from Facebook alone.

Sims declined an Ann Arbor News request for an interview. A manager at the McDonald’s restaurant in question said he wasn’t present when the woman harangued the fast-food worker, but such treatment of employees is atypical.

Ypsilanti police Lt. Deric Gress told the newspaper authorities received a call about the encounter, but the call was cancelled when the woman left.
