Wayne County Woman Killed In Overnight Hit-And-Run: Police

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was fatally struck by a driver, who never stopped, Wednesday morning on the Interstate 94 Service Drive in Van Buren Township, officials said.

Police said the 26-year-old woman was walking alongside the Interstate 94 Service Drive just west of Beck Road when she was hit by a vehicle.

Officers found the woman dead in the roadway at 12:44 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
