Wayne County Woman Wins $1.6M From Lucky 7s Fast Cash Jackpot
With her winnings, she said she plans to buy a new home, pay off student loans, take her son to Disney World and then save the rest.
WAYNE COUNTY, MI — A Wayne County woman won $1,682,998 playing the Lucky 7s Fast Cash jackpot from the Michigan Lottery, state officials announced.
The 37-year-old lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket on Dec. 18, 2021 at Flappers Café, located at 722 Southfield Road in Lincoln Park.
She said she was with her mom and playing Club Keno, when her mother suggested she should try the Fast Cash jackpot, which was more than $1.6 million.

After winning a few bucks from a couple of tickets, she decided to play one more, which was the jackpot.
"I was so excited." she said "I really wasn’t sure how to react."

"I called the bar owner over and told him I had won and asked him to scan the ticket for me," she added. "He confirmed that I had won, and I just couldn’t believe what was happening."
With her winnings, she said she plans to buy a new home, pay off student loans, take her son to Disney World and then save the rest of the money.
