Westland Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing
A man was charged Wednesday in connection with a fatal Westland stabbing, according to police.
WESTLAND, MI — A man was charged Wednesday in connection with a fatal Westland stabbing, according to police.
Officers found a 58-year-old Westland man unconscious and breathing on the ground in an area near Grand Traverse Street and Missaukee Court at 8 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
Officials took the man to a nearby hospital where he later died, according to police.

Richard Waltiere Jr., 48, of Westland, was charged with one count of second degree murder in connection with the stabbing. He was placed in jail with a $1 million bond. His next court date is scheduled for Aug. 29.
