Westland Man Stabs Wife To Death With Scissors: Officials

WESTLAND, MI — A Westland man was arrested Tuesday after police said he tortured and stabbed his wife multiple times with a pair of scissors, killing her.
William Grant, 49, was charged with first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder and torture, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said on Friday.
Officials said Grant stabbed his wife multiple times Tuesday with a pair of scissors in a Westland home on the 32600 block of Judy Drive, before running away from the home.

Officials identified the wife as 45-year-old Sarah Grant, and said officers found her dead in the home's garage at 9 p.m.
Officers tracked down and arrested Grant later Tuesday night, officials said. Officials did not provide a motive for the killing.

Grant was expected to be arraigned Friday morning in 18th District Court Friday morning.
