What's the Chance Plymouth-Canton Will See Storms Pounding Nation's Midsection?
Across the nation's midsection, rain, hail and tornadoes made Mother's Day one to remember. What's in the local forecast?

Detroit missed out on the wild weather that pummeled much of the nation’s midsection Sunday, but some chances for severe weather remain.
A cold front moving into the metro Detroit area brings a renewed chance of showers and storms on Monday as low pressure shifts into the lower Great Lakes, according to the National Weather Service.
The greatest risk will be late Monday and Monday evening, when there’s a chance of damaging winds gusting to 60 mph. Storms will move to the northeast at 35 mph, according to a hazardous weather statement released by the Weather Service.

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog after 11 p.m., otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 60. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 79. South southwest wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 57. West southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.
