Woman Killed, 2 Injured In Metro Detroit Crash: Police
A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a Monday night crash just outside of Ann Arbor, according to police said.
PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a Monday night crash in Pittsfield Township, just outside of Ann Arbor, according to police.
A 35-year-old Ann Arbor man was driving a 2012 Scion TC that was turning left onto southbound Carpenter Road at 7:54 p.m. when it was struck on the front passenger side by a 2010 Ford Escape, which was moving east on Packard Road, according to police.
A woman in the front passenger seat of the Scion was killed in the crash, according to police.

The Ann Arbor man who was driving the Scion was taken to a nearby hospital where he was in critical condition, according to police.
The 22-year-old Ypsilanti man who was driving the Escape was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police did not identify the woman killed in the crash.
Police do not know if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
