1 Arrested, 2 Injured in Rochester Hills Liquor Bottle Fight: Police

The suspect became unruly after deputies from Oakland County Sheriff's Office took him to the hospital, according to the report.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – A 19-year-old Rochester Hills man was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly threw to liquor bottles at a 20-year-old Bruce Township man, who drove himself to Crittenton Hospital for treatment of cuts to his face, authorities said.

The fight happened about 9 p.m. in the 900 block of Quarry, according to a news release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies met the victim at the hospital, then went to the residence to talk with the suspect.

When they arrived, they observed the suspect “running back and forth the home, locking doors and windows,” according to the news release.

Deputies eventually were able to persuade the suspect to open the door and he was taken into custody, and then to Beaumont Hospital – Troy for treatment of non-life-threatening cuts to his face and hands.

While at the hospital, the suspect “became aggressive and uncooperative,” then made “several suicidal statements” as he was being transported to the Oakland County Jail, where he is being held pending charges.
