1 Dead In Rochester Hills Mobile Home Fire: Reports

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A man was killed in a Tuesday morning fire at a Rochester Hills mobile home park, according to multiple reports.

The man, whose identity was not released by officials, was inside his mobile home at the Rochester Estates Mobile Homes park near Avon and John R roads when the fire broke out at 1:30 a.m., reports said.

Firefighters found the man inside the home while battling the blaze and took him to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries sustained in the fire, reports said.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire and tore down the mobile home to prevent any possible hotspots sparking back up the blaze, which could then spread to nearby mobile homes, reports said.

Officials were still investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
