2 Dead In Auburn Hills Shooting: Police

AUBURN HILLS, MI — Two people were killed Wednesday in an Auburn Hills shooting that police believe was a murder-suicide, according to Auburn Hills Police.

Officers found a 25-year-old man of Clarkston and a 25-year-old woman of Auburn Hills shot to death in the driveway of a home located on the 3600 block of Baldwin Road around 8:30 p.m., police said.

Officers found a gun near the bodies, police said.

Police said the shooting did not involve any other people and there were no other reported injuries at the home.

"This is an incredibly tragic outcome of a domestic situation," police said in a statement. "The Auburn Hills Police Department sends our condolences to the involved families. Out of respect for the families, the names of the deceased persons will not be released at this time."

No further information was released by police.
