Adams Road Bridge Over Clinton River to Close
The bridge will be closed for at least a month. Read on to learn more about the detour.

Rochester Hills, MI — Adams Road Bridge over the Clinton River, just north of Hamlin Road, will be closed for construction from July through mid- to late-August, the Road Commission for Oakland County said.
The decision to close the road was made by RCOC after a routine maintenance check identified needed repairs to prolong the structural integrity of the bridge over the Clinton River.
“With over 23,000 drivers every day, it is imperative that we ensure that Adams Road is safe for our residents,” Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan K. Barnett said in a statement. “Our team in the Department of Public Services is working diligently with the Road Commission to minimize the impact this project has on daily commutes.”
