Adams Road Closes Friday At I-75
The roadway is expected to reopen 5 a.m. on Monday, May 22.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Michigan Department of Transportation crews will be closing Adams Road in both directions at southbound I-75 this weekend for bridge removal starting at 10 p.m. Friday. The roadway is expected to reopen 5 a.m. on Monday, May 22.
The bridge work is part of the ongoing $91.8 million investment to reconstruct I-75 between South Boulevard and Coolidge Highway in Oakland County. During the closure, traffic on northbound Adams Road will be detoured using eastbound Square Lake Road to northbound Coolidge Highway, then westbound South Boulevard back to Adams Road.
Southbound traffic will be detoured via eastbound South Boulevard to southbound Coolidge Highway, then westbound Square Lake Road back to Adams Road. Currently, both directions of I-75 are maintained on the northbound side of the freeway between Coolidge Highway and Auburn Road, with two lanes open in each direction.

By 5 a.m. Monday, Adams Road is expected to have one lane open in each direction under I-75. The project to modernize I-75 to current standards will enhance safety and improve traffic flow.
