Agents Bust Macomb County Nurse Planning To Meet 15-Year-Old Boy For Sex: Report

Jigger O. Garcia, 50, of Chesterfield Township, was arrested by federal agents after exchanging over 1,100 text messages, reports said.

DETROIT — A Macomb County nurse practitioner was arrested by federal agents Thursday after he agreed to meet a 15-year-old boy for sex, according to reports.

Posing as the young boy, federal agents tricked Jigger O. Garcia, 50, of Chesterfield Township, in to believing he was meeting the boy in a Detroit church parking through a series of text messages on Aug. 8, reports said.

Garcia eventually arrived at the parking lot at 11:57 p.m. and was arrested by police, the report said. A detention hearing was scheduled for Garcia on Monday at 1 p.m.

Investigators said they found Garcia on a dating website where he was seeking a "straight, married, young and men in uniform" for sex on Aug. 4, reports said. When agents reached out under the fake account, they said Garcia was ok with the boy's age.
