ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A Troy man was killed in an Oakland County crash on Sunday, according to the sheriff's office.
The crash happened at 2:30 a.m. Sunday on M-59 near Livernois Road in Rochester Hills, officials said.
Officials said 35-year-old Cody Scott Trebush was driving a 2006 Mazda 3 when he lost control of the car trying to navigate a curve.
The car ran off the road and struck a guardrail, officials said.
Trebush was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car, officials said.
He was killed in the crash, officials said.
Police believe speed played a role in the crash but were unsure if drugs or alcohol were factors.
Officials were still investigating the crash.
