Teen Stabbed, Injured At Great Lakes Crossing Outlets In Auburn Hills: Police

The stabbing stemmed from a fight between two restaurant workers inside the mall, according to police.

AUBURN HILLS, MI — A teen was stabbed and injured Sunday at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, according to police.

The incident happened at 12:30 p.m. at Sbarro restaurant inside the mall, according to police.

Officers responded to calls that two workers were fighting in the back room of the restaurant, according to police.

Officers arrived and found an 18-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the neck, according to police.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said the suspect fled the mall. Investigators talked to the victim and identified the suspect as an 18-year-old Pontiac man.

Officers arrested the man in Pontiac. He was placed in jail as charges were pending from the prosecutor's office, according to police.

Police said the fight between the two workers stemmed from an ongoing dispute. No one else was involved, and there were no other injuries.
