• DTE Energy works to restore power to 265K customers; 145K restored (theoaklandpress.com) — Powerful storms knocked out electricity across Rochester Hills and nearby neighborhoods along Tienken, Adams, Squirrel and Rochester roads, leaving traffic lights dark and many homes without service. DTE says 145,000 customers are already restored and aims to have 90 percent of affected customers back on by Saturday, while urging residents to stay clear of downed lines and use generators safely.
