New Upscale Restaurant Opening In Rochester Hills

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A new fine-dining experience is coming to Rochester Hills this fall.

Casa Pasha will open a new restaurant at 6920 N. Rochester Road, just north of W. Tienken Road in Rochester Hills sometime next month.

The new restaurant will blend Japanese cooking techniques with traditional American dining.

Executive Chef James Henry will lead the menu, which will focus on premium steaks, expertly prepared seafood and signature sushi.

"My philosophy at Casa Pasha is to begin with exceptional ingredients and intervene only with purpose," Henry said. "We draw from both French and Japanese techniques, combining the richness of classical French cooking with Japanese precision and restraint, refined through years of practice."

A few signature offerings will include an oyster trio with rice vinegar mignonette, Sudachi granita and watermelon-mint relish, a coal-smoked Caesar prepared tableside with fresh wasabi, white shoyu and noripanko and a kombu-aged tomahawk cooked over live-fire.

The chefs will use a Josper charcoal oven and Josper robata grill to prepare the seafood and beef. The sushi program will highlight multiple cuts of bluefin tuna, including akami, chu-toro and oh-toro, served as nigiri, tartare and maki.

The food will be complemented by an extensive cocktail, wine and sake program.

"We saw an opportunity to bring a dining experience that is elevated without being unapproachable," Casa Pasha Owner Brandon Rubenstein said. "Casa Pasha is designed for everything from a celebratory dinner to evening cocktails at the bar, with a menu and ambiance that give guests a reason to settle in for the evening and become a regular."
