Armina Kasprowicz, proprietor of Armina Interiors, was awarded honors for her interior design work by a panel of independent judges for Detroit Home Magazine. The design community came together on Thursday, March 30 for the 13th Annual Detroit Home Design Awards gala hosted at the Diamond Center of the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Several design awards were given for exceptional work in five main categories: Details; Exteriors; Interiors; Commercial Design; and Home.

Interiors: Use of Color, 1st place and Children’s Room, 1st place
Jungle-Themed Child’s Room: Different luxe textures were mixed with a vibrant green and blue color palette. A custom mural, papier-mâché animal heads along with a gallery wall of custom-framed bugs gave the room an artful edge.

Interiors: Sustainable Design 2nd place
Restored Kitchen: A dramatic new look was created by painting cabinetry, using chrome hardware, and adding quartz countertops and mixed textures.
“I have been passionate about beautiful spaces since I was a child,” remarks Armina. “In addition to adding beauty, I make sure my designs are also functional. I work closely with my clients to create unique reflections of their personalities and lifestyles.”
