Arrest Made After 2 Men Point Gun, Demand Money From OU Student: Cops
An Oakland University student was walking in one the university's parking lots when two men pointed a gun at her and demanded her money.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Two men were arrested after police said they attempted to rob a female student at gunpoint in Oakland University's parking lot Wednesday evening, Oakland University Police said.
Police said the student was walking in the P-5 parking lot, west of Oakview Hall at 6:15 p.m. when two college-aged males pulled up next to her in a white four-door sedan.
That's when the student told police the passenger in the car rolled down his window and pointed a black handgun with an orange tip at her and demanded her money, police said.

The student then walked away from the car toward the residence halls and told police the car with the two attempted robbers drove away, heading north through the P-5 lot.
Police have not released the identities of the two men arrested in connection to the attempted armed robbery, as they continue to investigate the incident.
