What he will be selling: Functional and decorative wood designs, including large bowls, rolling pins, disk vases, platters and hollow forms. Most of his work comes from recaptured trees.

Must-see pieces at the festival: Some red cedar creations and exotic wood pieces will stand out among his display.

Why he likes the Art and Apples Festival: Daily likes to support the local arts and participate in shows close to home. “Plus, it’s also one of the better ranked shows in the country for fine art,” Daily said.

How long he has been displaying at Art and Apples: This is his sixth year.

What makes his work unique: The types of pieces that he creates are complex, he said, because they serve both decorative and functional purposes.

What inspires his creations: The wood is what gives him inspiration. “Sometimes I have something in mind, but the wood really gives me the direction of where things are going to go. Each piece is a little different than others and shows its character differently,” he said.
