Why he likes Art & Apples: Burger likes attending shows close to home. “It’s been a nice show. A good show for me to be at with the good clientele I have here,” Burger said. “It makes for a nice, festive weekend of gathering with friends and meeting new people.”

How long has he been displaying his work at Art & Apples: About 30 years

What makes his work unique: Every painting is different, he said, and he tries to focus on the impressionistic and realistic realm while a lot of other watercolor painters trend toward abstract.

What inspires his creations: Burger is a sailor and said that everything nautical inspires him.
