Avondale High School names Thomas Quach a Top Scholar
Student also a co-founder of non-profit charity supporting Avondale students

Thomas Quach is the son of Tang and Hien Quach and he resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
An Avondale High School Class of 2020 Top Scholar, Thomas was also a member of the National Honor Society for three years and the Spanish Honor Society for one year. He is a College Board AP Scholar. In addition to his academic achievements, Thomas was an exceptional tennis player, playing on the Varsity team for four years. He was awarded the MVP Award twice and Team Captain as a senior and was a two-time league and regional Champion. In 2019, Thomas and his teammates made school history as the first Avondale High School tennis team to ever qualify for the State Finals. For four years, he was a member of the two-time League Champion Varsity Golf Team. And, he was named All-League.
Thomas was a co-founder of the non-profit coffee shop at Avondale High School, Bubble Bee Bistro, instrumental in generating two $1000 grants for the charities, Avondale Blessings in a Backpack and Avondale Gift of Giving. In the fall, Thomas will be attending the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan to study Finance or Management.
