Avondale High School National Honor Society inducts new members
Students selected to join elite group from across the nation

Avondale High School inducted twenty-seven new members into National Honor Society this week. They join the current fifty-seven members of this elite group selected because they demonstrate excellence in scholarship (students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50), service, leadership and character. Club sponsors Mia Davila and David Masen led the inductees through a special ceremony where they were recognized for their selection to the organization. Pictured are current Avondale NHS officers, Julia Rosander (secretary), Edu Usoro (president), Alexa Alonso (secretary), Andy Jiang (treasurer), and Kathryn Wagner (parliamentarian) who were also part of the ceremony.
