Avondale High School Top Scholar Alexander Bach

Alexander Bach resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his parents Dave and Jennie Bach. Honored as an Avondale High School Top Scholar, Alex was enrolled in multiple Advanced Placement and Honors classes managing the rigors and achieving Principal’s Honor Roll each of his four years at Avondale High School. In addition to his academic achievement, Alex excelled as a musician. He was a member of the Avondale Yellow Jacket Marching Band and the Wind Ensemble for four years and served as section leader for the French Horn and Mellophone section for three years. He has received multiple Superior and Excellent ratings at various Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association events.

Alex was offered scholarships to University of Michigan Dearborn (the Metropolitan Scholarship), University of Michigan Flint (the Signature Merit Scholarship), and Oakland University (the Distinguished Scholars Award). In the fall, he plans to attend Oakland University as a member of the Honors College and study Business Management and Accounting.
