Avondale High School Top Scholar Kelly Traskal resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan with her parents Robert and Carol Traskal. Kelly was a member of the National Honor Society for three years, the French Honor Society for one year, and has been on the Principal’s Honor Roll throughout high school. She also served on the Class Board for two years. In addition to her academic achievements, Kelly has excelled athletically on the Varsity sideline and competitive cheer teams. She was Team Captain of each team for two years. In addition, she was All-State Academic for both sideline and competitive cheer for four years, a Scholar Athlete for sideline and competitive cheer for four years, an Avondale Scholar Athlete for sideline and competitive cheer for four years, received an All-Region Honorable Mention for competitive cheer, and earned her Varsity letter as a freshman in both sideline and competitive cheer. Kelly also earned designation as a Certified Microsoft Word and Excel Specialist. In the fall, Kelly will be attending Michigan State University, majoring in Finance.
