C​hief Financial Credit Union joins Community House to honor 2022 Pillars of Vibrancy Awardees.

The Community House in Birmingham hosted its sixth annual Bates Street Society Dinner on April 30 to honor individuals who have made significant charitable contributions to support the mission of Community House.

As part of its mission to inspire creative philanthropy, Chief Financial Credit Union president, Tom Dluzen and the Chief team joined hundreds of local community members to induct individuals into the Bates Street Society as supporting sponsor.

Dluzen presented The Community House’s annual Pillars of Vibrancy awards to honorees who were also recognized at the dinner for their work and contributions in the areas of education, culture, wellness, business and philanthropy, according to a press release from The Community House.

The 2022 Pillars of Vibrancy honorees:
• Dave Bing, former Detroit mayor, retired NBA basketball player and founder of The Bing Group, an automotive supply corporation will be honored for Business & Culture

• Dominic DiMarco — Education
• Jessie Beld Elliott — Business & Philanthropy
• Barry Franklin, Ph.D. — Wellness
• Lila Lazarus — Wellness & Education
• Duane Mezwa, M.D. — Education & Wellness
• Rabbi Daniel B. Syme — Culture
• Linda Schlesinger-Wagner — Business & Philanthropy
• S. Evan Weiner — Business & Philanthropy

Master of Ceremonies, FOX 2 News Anchor, Huel Perkins presented the awards at the glamourous black-tie event. Chief Financial Credit Union is committed to empowering financial success and inspiring creative philanthropy throughout each community it serves.
