At our popular Summer Concert series, guests will enjoy live, energetic performances by some of metro Detroit’s most talented musicians at a great setting – the Great Estate! Make a whole evening of it and come as early as 5 p.m. to explore the grounds and bring your own picnic dinner. Get into the rhythm and maybe even take a spin on our dance floor. Our summer concerts also include a delicious dessert. Filled with fantastic music and all the atmosphere of a unique venue, you’ll want to bring family, friends or a date to every performance! Come and experience the phenomenon that is dueling pianos. A dueling piano show is a live, all-request interactive experience, with a heavy emphasis on audience participation. The performers of Mobile Dueling Pianos are prepared to play all your favorite tunes, from The Beatles and Elvis to Snoop Dogg and Miley Cyrus and everything in between.Tickets must be booked in advance.

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is open for drop-in hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 - 3pm, with a Guided Tour of the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1:00pm and the 1850 Red House immediately following. 
Included with your admission is a self-paced, interactive look at our community’s local history. You also get to meet the Taylor-Van Hoosen families, check out Mastodon bones, and enjoy a wide variety of local videos from the Newberry Hill ski jump to our award-winning PBS movie and numerous computer interactives. The guided tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse departs from the Dairy Barn at 1:00 pm, and you may take a self-guided tour of the Bull Barn, Milk House, Equipment Barn, and Children’s Garden, as well as the nearby Stoney Creek Cemetery, and our 16 acres of grounds. Come and share your afternoon with us at our site – listed on the National Register of Historic Places!

Join Museum staff at the Rochester Farmer’s Market! Buy some fresh food and then hit the streets to learn some fascinating facts to share at dinner with family and friends. Where is the oldest building on Main Street?Where were the first hotels? Where were all the churches? On this tour we’ll explore our downtown exhibit signs and sift through historical photos and stories while walking about a half mile. No registration required. Meet at info tent.

With the cost of just about everything going up in price, I wanted to offer a more budget friendly facial option because everyone deserves to be able to be pampered and take care of the largest organ of the body! This facial is great for first time clients as well. The treatment is called "The Essentials Facial" and is a 45 min service that includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, treatment mask, hand and arm massage, appropriate serum and hydration for $65. This facial is currently available on Tuesday's only between 10-5. At this time we are unable to accept Gift cards to use towards this service.
