Rochester Lions Club Hosts “Rockin Rods n’ Rochester” August 9, 2026

The Rochester Lions Club is hosting its 26^th “Rockin Rods n’ Rochester” car show on Sunday, August 9, 2026 on Walnut Blvd., in downtown Rochester, starting at 9 a.m. and running until 4 p.m., rain or shine. All proceeds from the car show go to support Leader Dogs for the Blind and other Lions charities. Gates open at 7 a.m. and all cars must be parked by 11 a.m.

Founded in 1944, the Club is celebrating its 82^th year anniversary.

The Rochester Lions Club expects up to 375 cars entered in a variety of classes, including Hot Rods, Pre-1950 Classics, Classics from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, 1980 to present, Corvettes, Muscle Cars, Sport Cars, Specialty Vehicles, Trucks, Custom Cars, Pro Street, Vintage, Street Rods and Motorcycles. The club will give out special awards for Best of Show, Pride of the Lions, and Leader Dog Pick of the Litter, in addition to awards for each class. Awards are presented at approximately 3:30 p.m.
