Don’t miss this year’s epic tale of jealousy, loss, and redemption. Grab a lawn chair or picnic blanket and join us for The Winter’s Tale!
Our Sunday matinee will take place in our fully accessible, indoor space: the RAC Theater. All other performances will take place outdoors in the Pit Theater. Accessing the Pit requires walking down 15 steps with railings. We recommend bringing a jacket or blanket to stay warm as it cools off in the evening.

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is open for drop-in hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 - 3pm, with a Guided Tour of the 1840 Van Hoosen Farmhouse at 1:00pm and the 1850 Red House immediately following. 
Included with your admission is a self-paced, interactive look at our community’s local history. You also get to meet the Taylor-Van Hoosen families, check out Mastodon bones, and enjoy a wide variety of local videos from the Newberry Hill ski jump to our award-winning PBS movie and numerous computer interactives. The guided tour of the Van Hoosen Farmhouse departs from the Dairy Barn at 1:00 pm, and you may take a self-guided tour of the Bull Barn, Milk House, Equipment Barn, and Children’s Garden, as well as the nearby Stoney Creek Cemetery, and our 16 acres of grounds. Come and share your afternoon with us at our site – listed on the National Register of Historic Places!

With several Yoga in the Garden sessions – taught by experienced instructor Darcy Cole – we offer many opportunities to take a breath of fresh air and build your flexibility in an incredible setting. All levels are welcome to join, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. St. Mary of the Hills Roman Catholic Church

The Rochester Community Concert Band (RCCB) invites the community to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with its 5th Annual Outdoor Summer Concert, “Celebrate America 250!”, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. on the east lawn of St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, 2675 John R. Road, Rochester Hills.
The concert, under the direction of Paul F. DeRubeis, Conductor and Artistic Director, is free and open to the public. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an inspiring evening of music under the summer sky. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held on Wednesday, August 5, at 7:00 p.m.
Joining the Rochester Community Concert Band will be Daniel Greig, who will serve as narrator for Robert W. Smith’s powerful tribute The Greatest Generation and as tenor soloist in David Miller’s uplifting Celebrate America!, adding both dramatic storytelling and expressive vocal artistry to the program.
Guests will also enjoy on-site offerings from Tacos Te Amo (www.tacosteamo.com/menu) and The Little Donut food trucks available for purchase before, during, and after the performance, making this a festive community evening of music, food, and celebration.
The evening’s program commemorates America’s Semiquincentennial with a stirring collection of music honoring the nation’s history, heritage, and military service. Highlights include USA – 250 March, Glenn Miller in Concert, The Queen of Soul, and Salute to the Armed Forces, along with other patriotic favorites. Audience members are warmly invited to sing along during You’re a Grand Old Flag and God Bless America, joining their voices in this community celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The concert concludes with the thrilling An American Spectacular, and The Stars and Stripes Forever.
“We look forward to welcoming our community each year to this special outdoor tradition,” said DeRubeis. “As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, this program reflects the spirit, resilience, and shared heritage that unite us all.”
Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted to support the Rochester Community Concert Band’s mission of providing outstanding musical performances and educational outreach throughout the community.

This facial is great for first time clients as well. The treatment is called "The Essentials Facial" and is a 45 min service that includes a deep cleanse, exfoliation, treatment mask, hand and arm massage, appropriate serum and hydration for $65.
