Why are you seeking this office?
We need to have representatives in Congress who will resist any attempt to disallow electoral votes or in any other way defeat the will of the people in the next presidential election. The events of January 6, 2021, and the revelations of what former president Trump did to illegally stay in office by subverting the election should shock all of us. We must make sure that the constitution is respected and our republic is protected.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I live in the district; my opponent does not; for this reason I am a true "representative" while my opponent is a carpetbagger. Also I am pro-choice while my opponent is not. He would deny a right to an abortion even to victims of rape and incest, forcing the girl or woman to give birth to the criminal's child.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
N/A. Open seat.
Do you think the federal government can or should do more to curb inflation, which has led to an increase in prices for food, gas and other goods?
Yes. Of course. The best way is to promote alternatives to oil and gasoline, which are the main drivers of inflation.
Do you support changing the state’s constitution to ensure that women have to right to get an abortion?
Yes. Absolutely!
Do you support the Raise the Wage ballot initiative, which would increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2027 and provide cost-of-living increases in later years?
Yes.
Would you support an election initiative to require another audit of the 2020 presidential election, to transfer authority over the audit from the Secretary of State to a newly created auditing panel, and to change how elections are reviewed in the future?
No. Unnecessary and very costly. Plus there is no evidence whatsoever that there was anything amiss with the 2020 election. It is time for the BIG LIE to be put to rest.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
We need to combine capitalism and environmentalism to produce the new renewable energy products that the world is yearning for -- things like heat pumps for heating and cooling and fast EV charging stations to promote the sale of EV vehicles. We can both save the planet from the disaster of climate change AND have a full employment booming economy if we simply take the initiative to build these products first.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I had over twenty years as a state and federal prosecutor enforcing the law and protecting the public. For over nine years I served as a judge, applying the law and seeing that justice was done. I have dealt with all of the issues that a person in congress can face. I have at each position done my job diligently and with great integrity. I am well prepared for the challenge to serve the people in this new and final role.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
If you are right on time, you are ten minutes late.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Although I had my share of ambition as as young man, this effort is motivated solely by my love of country and the duty to save our republic at this time of maximum turmoil and danger.
