Coldplay Brings A Head Full of Dreams Tour to The Palace

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Alessia Cara and Foxes will open the Aug. 3 Metro Detroit concert, one of 12 new dates added.

AUBURN HILLS, MI – An Aug. 3 concert at the Palace of Auburn Hills is among the 12 cities Coldplay has added to its A Head Full of Dreams Tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Prices haven’t been announced.

According to an announcement, acclaimed singer/songwriter Alessia Cara and Foxes will open the concert.

The concert falls almost four years to the date of Coldplay’s last appearance at The Palace on Aug. 1, 2012.

The A Head Full Of Dreams Tour began at the end of last month in Latin America, where the band’s sold out stadiums shows have been greeted with wild acclaim from fans and media alike. The tour, which has already sold well in excess of 2 million tickets worldwide, will then continue to Europe before arriving in the U.S. in July.
