Crumbley's Parents Set For Court Tuesday On Manslaughter Charges
James and Jennifer Crumbley were charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection to the Oxford school shooting.

PONTIAC — The parents of the accused Oxford school shooter, Ethan Crumbey, are set to appear at a probable cause hearing Tuesday afternoon.
James and Jennifer Crumbley are believed to be appearing in court in person at 1:15 p.m. in front of Judge Nicholson at the 52nd District Court - Division 3.
Both parents were each charged by prosecutors with four counts of involuntary manslaughter and pleaded not guilty. They were each also given a bond of $500,000, no 10 percent, which they have yet to post bond.

In total, they each face a maximum prison sentence of 60 years and maximum fines of $30,000 if they are convicted on all four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
They were also accused by prosecutors of buying their son the semi-automatic pistol used in the shooting and ignoring his pleas for help, in which one stance saw school officials advising them to get their son into counseling after a meeting at the school.

They were both arrested in the early morning on Dec. 4 in Detroit after they were charged by prosecutors and reported missing by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
