The Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) is inviting the public to its third annual rockin' Sock Hop fundraiser from 6pm-9pm on Friday, January 20th. Come dance to music from the 50’s and 60’s spun by Phil the Oldies DJ. Dance in the gym or just listen to the music you love; just like the old days. Our OPC Sock Hoppin' Diner will feature Lipuma’s award winning Coney Island hot dogs and more. Singles,couples and groups are encouraged to attend. It's time for leather jackets, poodle skirts, jeans and sweaters...your 50's and 60's best, or come as you are. (Tennis shoes or socks only for dancing).
See you at the "Hop"! OPC is located at 650 Letica in Rochester. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the OPC ticket office or by calling 248-608-0251 M-F from 8:30am-3:30pm. The deadline to buy tickets is January 19. No tickets will be available at the door. You do not need to be a member to attend.
