So you have always wanted to travel to an unusual destination but you were afraid to because you didn’t speak the language? Fear no more! The Troy Chamber of Commerce invites you to travel to China (October 13-21) or Hong Kong/Thailand (November 5-13) as part of a Chamber travel group this fall, complete with English-speaking tour guides.
"The thought of planning a trip to a fascinating location like Asia may seem overwhelming for a number of reasons—you don’t speak the language, you don’t know what you’ll eat, you’re nervous about the accommodations,” said Troy Chamber President Michele Hodges. “By traveling with the Chamber, you can set those fears aside. The only thing you’ll need to worry about is if you have a good camera to take with you.”
For as low as $2,150 per person for China and $2,699 for Hong Kong/Thailand, you can enjoy 4 & 5 star hotels, airfare, meals, a variety of attractions and more.

"In October 2011, our group of 58 travelers enjoyed the unforgettable experience of seeing China. For 2012, we’re offering this trip again, with a possible side excursion to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Warriors. In addition, we’re adding a new trip to Hong Kong/Thailand in November."
