'Fresh Prince' Fan Gets 'Royal' Hotel Treatment

Guest said he "may have been drinking" when the made the unusual request.

ROCHESTER, MI – A recent guest at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester apparently is a huge fan of the 1990s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” — but not because of its most famous actor, Will Smith.

Enter actor Alfonso Ribeiro in the supporting role of Carlton.

The guest, Yelp user Michael E of Clinton Township, wrote on the social media site that he “jokingly” asked the staff to “please leave a framed photo of Carlton from ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ on the nightstand” when he made his reservation.

“I may have been drinking when I made the reservation,” he joked on the site.

But the hotel delivered.

“Needless to say,” he wrote, “I had completely forgotten about that until I noticed it in my room last night and literally fell over from laughing so hard,” he wrote.

He also noted the spotless room, comfortable mattress and a well-appointed bathroom.
